This striking Victorian-era ring is crafted in 20ct yellow gold with a soft orange-blossom undertone - reminiscent of 22ct gold, but with a more subtle warmth. At its centre sits an intense deep blue cushion-cut sapphire (approx. 1ct), flanked by two bright old mine cut diamonds (approx. 0.50ct total). Their tall crowns and open culets reflect the precision of 19th-century hand-cutting techniques.
The band measures 9mm at the front, tapering to 4mm at the back, and carries a satisfying weight of 11.01g. Stamped with a maker’s mark and XRF-tested to confirm its gold content, the ring remains in very good antique condition.
