A whimsical Austro-Hungarian antique porcelain pendant with a cherub on one side and the words "Isten Vedjen" on the other, meaning "God bless you" in Hungarian.
The beautifully illustrated porcelain is set in a base metal surround, with a base metal pendant bail, all original to the piece that dates to circa 1890.
There are some nibbles in places around the edge of the porcelain in keeping with the age of this magical piece. A few minor scratches on the surface can be seen under magnification but not with the naked eye.
