An exceptional antique French 18ct gold chain, converted from a beautifully made French atelier sautoir and retaining its original swivel dog clip clasp.
The chain is formed from striking elongated, four-sided links, each measuring an impressive 27mm in length. Wonderfully sculptural and dimensional, the links feature slender, tapering sections with delicate beaded borders, creating an elegant openwork silhouette that catches the light beautifully from every angle.
