This magical navette ring boasts an array of magical diamonds enhanced by white gold diamond settings and incredibly detailed 15-carat gold shoulders leading to the 15ct gold band.
The sparkling diamonds are all original to the piece and are all old cut diamonds of various sizes, cuts and clarity, with the central diamond being flanked by two pear-shaped old cuts that accentuate the navette design beautifully.
Many of the diamonds are near colourless, with the central diamond a green-yellow colour, and with some of the stones having wonderful dashes of salt and pepper inclusions that add to the historical beauty of this stunning piece. The estimated clarity is I1; there are some nibbles and blemishes to the diamonds, as to be expected with a piece of this age, but this does not detract from their beauty and definitely does not hinder their sparkle - this wonderful ring sparkles brilliantly.
It has recently undergone extensive repairs on the claws to ensure the beautiful antique diamonds remain securely in place, with every single claw having been retipped, in keeping with the beautiful antique design.
