This absolute stunner is a unique conversion chain exclusive to our collection, made using various different Victorian-era components. She boasts 15-carat gold hollow curb links and a matching pair of 15-carat gold dog clip clasps, a purity of gold that is hard to find these days since it was discontinued in England in 1932.
At the ideal length of 18.25 inches, she is perfect for daily wear and can easily be layered with other chains in your collection or worn on her own.
Her chubby hollow links graduate in size from 8mm at the front of the chain where the dog clips are positioned, to 4mm at the back. Her wider curb links, along the sides and at the front, are all stamped for 15-carat gold, although some stamps are slightly faded due to her age. There are no stamps on the 4mm section, designed to sit at the back of the neck. Her connecting jump rings are handcrafted using 18-carat yellow gold. She is a beautiful soft yellow gold colour typical of 15-carat gold, with 2 perfectly matched secure dog clip clasps. The luxurious 18-carat gold connecting jump rings are solid (not hollow) and are a slightly stronger yellower tone due to the higher purity of gold and because they are made from modern recycled gold.
